God willing, on this Sunday January 30, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. EST, Brother Marcus will address the topic “The Negative Effects that your impending divorce may have on your children!” It has been said that where there is a will, there is a way so what does having a “weak willpower”, have to do with divorce? Has how a divorce might really affect your children even crossed your mind? Why is the damage divorce causes to children usually worse than the damage caused by living in a two-parent home with marital difficulties? Why don’t husbands and wives realize the pain that we cause our children when we as the parents, contemplate divorce? Why is it one of the most traumatic things in a child’s life to have to choose between two people whom they love? Do we want to put our children in a position where they believe they have betrayed their own mother or father? How does divorce really affect children and what are the varieties of responses you may see from your child if you choose to carry forth with your impending divorce?
With God’s help, Brother Marcus will discuss in the 2nd Half of the show why divorce is contagious and how it is spreading through our families and our communities like a virus! Why do the researchers call it ‘divorce clustering’ and why do they say that a split up between immediate friends increases a person’s own chances of getting divorced by 75 per cent.” Brother Marcus will also address how many parents work to bad mouth, bash and brainwash their children against the divorced spouse. He will conclude this show talking about what is known as the Parent Alienation Syndrome.
