Mark your calendars and save the dates -- ASU has planned a fun-filled schedule of events for Hornet Homecoming 2014.
This year’s schedule features a major change, with the Turkey Day Classic football game slated for Nov. 22, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
President Gwendolyn E. Boyd said the new date is a win-win for students and for alumni.
“The move will allow ASU’s students to be more involved in their Homecoming tradition, will allow the Hornets football team the opportunity to compete for FCS championships and will provide our out-of-town alumni more flexibility to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with their families,” Boyd said.
This year’s celebration will include everything from a Gospel Fest to our exciting Homecoming Concert to an on-campus Block Party, Pep Rally and the annual TDC Parade in downtown Montgomery.
Check out the schedule (times and locations to be determined) and make your plans to come home!
