Job Title: Senior Program Manager (Engineering-Product development)
Location: 100% onsite in Irvine, CA
Employment Type: Direct-hire
Compensation: $150,000 to $190,000

Our client is seeking a visionary Sr Program Manager who has managed programs with initiatives around Hardware/IoT devices (Software, Cloud as it relates to them). This person is to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge program management methodologies across our global product development centers. This role is integral to driving the success of their complex consumer product initiatives and requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record in program management within these domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Global Program Management Excellence: Lead the development and rollout of innovative program management processes across global product teams. Design key performance indicators (KPIs) to track, measure, and optimize progress on a diverse range of new product development projects.
  • Select and Implement Tools for Success: Identify, evaluate, and implement program management tools and applications to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration across multiple teams worldwide.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Organize and facilitate critical project kickoff meetings, roadmap reviews, and interlock sessions. Own the agenda and ensure smooth execution with impactful presentations and actionable outcomes.
  • Shape the Product Development Lifecycle: Innovate and enhance the product development lifecycle to drive efficiency, consistency, and quality across all stages. Lead company-wide training and evangelize best practices for maximizing the lifecycle's effectiveness.
  • Mentor and Build Talent: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and functional leaders. Share your expertise to foster growth and excellence in program management practices.
  • Foster Key Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with global functional leaders, earning a reputation as the go-to expert for program management best practices. Ensure alignment and collaboration across diverse teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ Years of Experience in Program Management, with deep expertise in hardware, Cloud, IoT consumer product development. You've led and managed large-scale, complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams like R&D, Product Management, and Engineering.
  • Technical Expertise: A solid foundation in hardware product development, with a track record of leading projects from concept to general availability.
  • Program Management Visionary: Demonstrated ability to design, refine, and implement program management processes that deliver exceptional results.
  • Global Mindset: Ability to work with distributed teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
