<dd><p><span style="margin: 0; padding: 0; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-indent: -130px"><span style="margin: 0; padding: 0">The Director, Pathways plays a critical role in supporting high school students’ transition into career and transfer pathways by developing and managing instructional support structures, credit-bearing opportunities, and workforce-aligned programs. The director ensures seamless integration of high school coursework, dual enrollment, prior learning assessments, and workforce credentials within CCBC’s guided pathways, leveraging credit and continuing education integration. This role is essential in fostering a structured, supportive academic environment that equips high school students with the skills, credentials, and opportunities needed to transition successfully into higher education and the workforce.</span></span></p></dd>
<dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt>
<dd><p><span style="margin: 0; padding: 0; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-indent: -144px;"><span style="margin: 0; padding: 0;">Master’s degree and five (5) years of experience in academic affairs, student success initiatives, or instructional program development, preferably in a community college required. Knowledge of guided pathways across the curriculum, including integration with continuing education. Previous experience with curricular development, including transitioning coursework from high school, prior learning assessment, and between credit and continuing education, preferred. Teaching experience preferred.</span></span><br><br><span style="margin: 0; padding: 0; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-indent: -144px;"><span style="margin: 0; padding: 0;"><strong style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" id="isPasted"><span style=" color: inherit;">Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Collaborate with faculty conveners and program coordinators to align high school coursework with credit and workforce programs to create clear, structured career pathways that ensure effective transitions from high school into degree and workforce training programs.</span></span><br><span class="TextRun SCXW242274144 BCX8" style="margin: 0; padding: 0"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW242274144 BCX8" style="margin: 0; padding: 0">3. Provide students with experiences, resources, and support to ease their transition from high school to college, between continuing education and credit programs, and from college to the workforce.</span></span><br><span class="TextRun SCXW242274144 BCX8" style="margin: 0; padding: 0"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW242274144 BCX8" style="margin: 0; padding: 0">4. Partner with faculty, advisors, and student services to ensure seamless student transitions from high school to college and from education to career. </span></span><br><span class="TextRun SCXW242274144 BCX8" style="margin: 0; padding: 0"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW242274144 BCX8" style="margin: 0; padding: 0">5. Work with K-12 schools, industry partners, and workforce development agencies to align academic programming with labor market needs. </span></span><br><span class="TextRun SCXW242274144 BCX8" style="margin: 0; padding: 0"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW242274144 BCX8" style="margin: 0; padding: 0">6.
