The Material Handling Team Lead is responsible for leading the material handling team on a daily basis to achieve the timely delivery of materials to the production teams.

This position reports to the Materials Logistics Supervisor and is part of the Supply Chain Team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be an on-site role. The role is for 1st shift and will be from 6 AM - 2:30 PM.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead a highly engaged material handling team

• Participate/Lead projects owned by the Supply Chain team

• Learn the Danaher Business System and how to incorporate it in daily operations

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3+ years of prior manufacturing or distribution of materials experience

• Organizationally structured and able to effectively communicate expectations

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Use of Kanban for replenishing materials

• Use of Oracle/ERP to execute timely and accurate material transactions

• Team Lead experience
