Ready to join a team that’s pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.Position Overview The person in this position performs complex or specialized technical assignments usually in the nature of projects, which requires the ability to work independently. Uses considerable judgment, a high degree of initiative, creative approaches in troubleshooting, and adapts to rapidly shifting priorities and a fast-paced environment. Makes recommendations for continuous improvement across areas of responsibility.Essential Job Functions<ul><li>Support daily operations with operational vendors, lab equipment service agreement management</li><li>Coordinate janitorial support</li><li>Coordinate and Lead Space Management for entire site</li><li>Assist in coordination of office and lab builds</li><li>General and universal waste management</li><li>Managing service tickets</li><li>Supports site communications</li><li>Coordination of facility setup for group meetings.</li><li>Work closely with the Facilities Manager and the other skilled trades at the facility</li><li>Ensure the cleanliness of the premises via inspection and light supervision.</li><li>Perform general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including; carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, painting, custodial, etc.</li><li>Expected to support the various trade personnel at a facility or complex in the performance and completion of their duties as needed and assigned.</li><li>Helps to ensure all building and maintenance policies, procedures, SOP’s, codes, regulations, etc. are followed and enforced including safety systems and standards. </li><li>May be required to respond to restroom service requests. </li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>At least 3 years of mechanical experience preferably in a commercial or industrial facility with an emphasis in facility maintenance plus experience with electrical, building equipment and building repairs.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong oral and written. communications skills.</li><li>Basic computer skills including Microsoft applications.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours to include nights & weekends if necessary.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. </li><li>Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.</li><li>There may be continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)</li><li>Employee may be required to lift objects up to 25lbs or more. </li><li>Employees will be required to work in an air conditioned office space and possibly perform some tasks in our non-temperature controlled warehouse space.</li></ul>An internal pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified.
