Sr. Manager/Team Lead Inspection, Packaging, & Warehouse Operations

**What You Will Achieve**

In this role, you will:

+ Set and manage high-complexity project objectives within the Global Business Unit.

+ Lead and allocate people, technology, and financial resources, including those outside direct authority.

+ Actively share knowledge across multiple functions and contribute to knowledge management processes.

+ Champion and implement innovative ideas, taking appropriate risks within the Global Business Unit.

+ Develop solutions for highly complex problems and interpret the Division's strategy to set business priorities.

+ Assess talent needs, identify talent, and hold managers accountable for developing a diverse talent pipeline.

+ Lead teams to implement strategic direction and influence senior management decisions.

+ Partner with Global Business Unit leadership to achieve objectives and manage Pfizer direct reports for professional development.

+ Guide Technology teams in manufacturing/project support activities and ensure compliance with regulations and audit readiness.

+ Collaborate on equipment installations, validations, and preventative maintenance, and lead budget planning for production operations.

+ Lead operational areas in Rochester including inspection, packaging, and warehouse operations.

**Here Is What You Need** (Minimum Requirements)

+ BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of experience

+ Strong background in supervision or management roles within the pharmaceutical industry

+ Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma tools

+ Robust people management skills

+ Proactive approach in engaging with key stakeholders

+ Experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams

+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

**Bonus Points If You Have** (Preferred Requirements):

+ Advanced degree (Master's, PhD, JD, MD, DVM) in a relevant field

+ Experience in talent management and development

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to drive innovation and manage change

+ Experience in budget planning and financial management

+ Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance

+ Ability to manage Pfizer direct reports effectively

+ Strong leadership and team-building skills

+ Experience in strategic planning and execution

+ Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, includingrisk management and ethical use

Site makes penicillin product; candidate must not be allergic to penicillin.

**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**

The role has responsibilities for first and second shift operations. Candidate must be able to support both shifts and also weekend coverage and support when teams are work weekends.

Work Location Assignment: On Premise

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $139,100.00 to $231,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
