Senior Activities Aide - Integrative Care

As a Senior Activities Aide, you'll design uplifting therapeutic play and arts experiences for pediatric patients and their families across the hospitalbringing color, comfort, and courage to their care journey. From supporting infants in the NICU with developmental interactions to facilitating creative groups in the relational health center, youll work handson alongside certified child life specialists and licensed clinicians to ensure every activity supports each childs therapeutic goals. Youll also help guide volunteers and student interns, support artsinhealth initiatives, keep programs running smoothly, and help bring special events and magical moments to life hospitalwide. - This is anonsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
- Candidates must reside within commutable distanceof the following office location:
- Texas: Lubbock
Required qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: A minimum of 30 credit hours in the area of child development, psychology, recreation, education, arts, and/or healthcare field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 1 or more years of experience in providing recreation, developmental, and/or arts engagement experiences with clinical populations including but not limited to behavioral health, medical, and/or students

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
