The Manufacturing Assembly Associate O-4 is responsible for

• Having a good understanding of how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve objectives; serve as team lead or subject matter expert, may allocate work and provide guidance to team members; exercises judgment, based on previous experience, practices and precedents, to identify and solve problems that arise with little or not precedents; provides solutions to problems in situations that are typical or infrequently occurring based on existing procedures or precedents

• Knows and complies with department, site, and company policies and procedures including the proper wear and use of required personal protective equipment; participates and completes training and personal development

• Work independently and able to work in different Operations within Manufacturing cell or Assembly Value Stream; operates within team-based work system and rotates job routine as needed, knows and complies with department, site, and company policies and procedures including the proper wear and use of required personal protective equipment

This position reports to the Supervisor and is part of the Flow Team located in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support different Areas of the plant IE: Centrifuge, Flow, ..

• Lead Assigned work duties

• Train in assigned work duties; perform and fill in when positions ae unassigned during the shift.

The essential requirements of the job include

• High School degree (or equivalent degree) with 7+ years experience

• Possess a sense of urgency, ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to use a computer to complete work

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Will be traveling to Miami, FL to train for at least 15 to 20 weeks.

• Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

• Using material handling equipment including hoists, hoist inspections to move parts and skids; lifting up to 50 lbs. bending, stooping, walking,

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Awareness of continuous improvement with participation on a kaizen project team is desirable.

• Demonstrated success carrying out leading day-to-day activities and organizational agility.
