Job Description
The Customer Master Data & Analytics Analyst, within the Finance Shared Services (FSS) organization, supports the Order to Cash (OTC) process by executing established data governance, data quality, and operational standards for Customer Master Data across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems. This role works closely with business, finance, and technology stakeholders to ensure customer master data is accurate, compliant, and maintained in a timely manner to support effective OTC execution, regulatory requirements, and reliable reporting. The Master Data Analyst contributes to continuous improvement efforts, supports analytics and reporting activities, and assists in driving process consistency and operational efficiency within the Customer Master Data domain. Key Responsibilities - Perform DSP Reviewer activities by validating customer master data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, reviewing supporting documentation, and approving or rejecting requests in accordance with established governance and OTC process standards.
- Perform ongoing customer master data maintenance through bulk updates in line with approved governance controls.
- Participate in global projects and initiatives across multiple functions and regions.
- Collaborate with business units and process experts to investigate and resolve customer master data issues.
- Apply data governance practices by maintaining and using data catalogs, enforcing defined business rules, and supporting data quality standards across customer master data processes.
- Manage customer license maintenance, including validation of DEA, SLN, and HIN licenses against MedPro and state regulatory websites.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and concepts, including the ability to apply AI responsibly to support analysis, reporting, and documentation while adhering to data privacy and security standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations.
- Build data models, DAX calculations, and custom measures to enable effective data analysis.
- Apply data visualization best practices to deliver intuitive, userfocused reporting solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning, and analytics processes through continuous improvement.
- Write efficient SQL queries to manipulate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications - Prior experience in master data management within SAP or similar enterprise systems.
- 4+ years of experience in master data management, preferably within global or crossfunctional environments.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Customer Master Data and Global Trade Services (GTS).
- Handson experience with SQL Server, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data analysis and transformation.
- Strong experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling and visualization best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Handson experience with data governance or data stewardship platforms (e.g., DSP or equivalent).
- Microsoft Power BI certification(s).
