This role will involve working at the intersection between our business lines and Mastercard key clients, driving collaboration, innovation, and value. <br>Responsibilities: <br> Act as the connection between local and regional teams to execute Mastercards strategy with commercial banks. Work collaboratively with the US Teams. This requires alignment on strategies and objectives for the different programs, sharing best practices from other regions, demonstrating thought leadership, and building an aligned execution plan. <br> Work as part of a NAM team to source, evaluate, and collaborate with targeted commercial banks. This requires identifying the specific needs of these issuing banks, as well as creating and delivering the appropriate value propositions to market win new business. <br> Work closely with NAM Product leads, the broader Business Development team, and parts of Mastercards product business to identify opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration and partnership with commercial banks. <br> Responsible for executing on an innovative strategy to drive initiatives in the US, leveraging a combination of partnerships and relationship management skills. <br> Develop thought leadership, identifying and deploying the appropriate value proposition and driving marketing and communications initiatives aligning global framework to regional priorities and strategy. <br> Drive initiatives aimed at identifying and qualifying relevant commercial banks, assessing their strategic fit with Mastercard and our customers. <br> Drive and develop business and competitive intelligence reports. Identify the right metrics and KPIs and perform comparison with other stakeholders in the ecosystem. Track and report business performance of the engagement with commercial banks. <br> Build rapport and trust with Mastercard customers to maximize engagements between commercial banks and customers. <br>All About You: <br> Possesses a passion for the commercial banking space with demonstrated experience of working with the segment and having strong existing relationships with decision makers in the space. <br> Ability to quickly learn about new technologies, demonstrating subject matter expertise and industry thought leadership. <br> Results driven, solutions and customer focused, with strong business acumen and sense of urgency. <br> Demonstrated multi-disciplinary knowledge, i.e. innovative product development, business development, marketing, client relationship management, emerging technologies. <br> Proactively able to identify opportunities before others and develop strategies to take advantage of these opportunities. <br> Demonstrated experience quickly understanding, utilizing, and evangelizing new technology. <br> Demonstrated ability to take accountability and drive to desired results with passion, ambition, and aptitude. <br> Demonstrated strong self-awareness, open to different approaches and ideas and open to challenging status quo to drive new business initiatives. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
