<dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0">The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality mentoring and student support services to participants in the<strong> </strong>Strategic Student Initiatives (SSI). </p></dd>
<dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt>
<dd><p><span style="color: inherit;">An associate’s degree with three years or a bachelor’s degree with one year of successful experience working with mentoring programs and/or case management are required. </span><span style="color: inherit;">Demonstrated success working with student populations. Must have experience working with adult learners, providing mentoring, case management, and other support services</span><br><br><span style="color: inherit;"><strong>Positions located on the Essex & Catonsville campuses</strong></span><strong><br></strong><span style="color: inherit;"><strong>This is a Part Time (19.5 hours per week) on -site position.</strong></span></p></dd>
<dt><h2>Class Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: -0.25in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><span style="color: inherit">Mentor students by providing guidance, acting as a role model, and offering support to help them build academic skills, navigate challenges, and complete CCBC. </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Maintain a caseload of program participants by maintaining confidential student records and electronic files.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Enhance student engagement by facilitating and coordinating programming that aligns with SSI's goals and foundational pillars.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Monitor the academic and educational progress of program participants.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Oversee the collection of quantitative and qualitative educational data related to program goals and objectives. </span></li></ol><p style="margin: 0"><br></p><p style="margin: 0">Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive.
