Product Manager, Data Development & Operations
As the Product Manager - Data Development & Operations, you will lead a high-performing team delivering key outcomes on Best Buy's enterprise roadmap to migrate analytics and data platforms to Google Cloud. In this role, you'll shape strategy, prioritize initiatives, and help retire on-premise data warehousing systems to enable scalable, cloud-based analytics. You'll work in a collaborative, agile environment that values experimentation, learning, and inclusive leadership. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you'll do - Define and evolve a clear product vision and outcomes aligned to Best Buy's enterprise analytics and cloud migration strategy
- Translate business strategy into product strategy, value increments, and product specifications that deliver customer and business value
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams across data warehousing, cloud, engineering, and business partners within a matrixed organization
- Prioritize initiatives and feature delivery using data, customer insights, industry trends, and emerging technologies
- Champion customer needs by applying empathy, building trust, and ensuring solutions solve real problems
- Participate in day-to-day product activities, driving high-quality outcomes through rapid development cycles
Basic qualifications - 2 or more years of relevant Product Management experience (e.g., development, user experience, strategy)
- 1 or more years of experience in strategy creation, customer-focused solutioning, or cross-functional leadership
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field -- or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field
- 4 or more years of relevant Product Management experience, with a proven ability to deliver products or platforms that drive customer and business outcomes
- 4 or more years of experience working with analytics and/or data warehouse technologies
- Experience working with order fulfillment processes and systems within an omnichannel retailer
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders, along with a working knowledge of data flows, process flows, and system architecture
