Maximus is seeking an It Service Delivery resource as a key member of the IT support team, providing comprehensive technical assistance for the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL). This role is responsible for a wide range of duties including endpoint and peripheral support, IT service center operations, and technical support for conference and video teleconferencing (VTC) rooms. The position involves troubleshooting and repairing hardware, managing IT equipment inventory, and serving as a primary point of contact for resolving user-reported technical issues through the ServiceNow ITSM and Jira tool.
This position is critical to maintaining the productivity of laboratory & administrative staff by ensuring the reliability and functionality of all IT systems. The work involves providing Level 1 and 2 support, maintaining seamless operation of audio/visual equipment for meetings and events, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to optimize system performance. This role requires applying established IT principles and practices to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical problems, directly impacting the ability of employees to perform their daily work and collaborate effectively.
