Happy Monday! What a wonderful day it is. Don't you agree? We face another week full of life's adventures. We must continue to press on and focus on the moment at hand.
I had a wonderful weekend in Philadelphia celebrating a Wedding Engagement, a Birthday, and Family. I love road trips and it's now time to hit the road to head back to Buckeye land (Shout out to the OSU Men's B-Ball Team for winning their game over the weekend).
I am going to dive into a great book that appeals to me while passing time on the road: "Josephine Baker" by Bryan Hammond and Patrick O'Connor.
http://www.abebooks.com/Josephine-Baker-Ha... I love reading Autobiography's and that is just the type of book this is.
The last Autobiography I read while traveling on the HBCU Cruise -
www.HBCUCruise.com was "Q: The Autobiography of Quincy Jones":
http://www.amazon.com/Q-The-Autobiography-... That was truly a page turner that I didn't want to end.
Another great one is the Autobiography of Christopher Reeves: "Still Me":
http://www.chrisreevehomepage.com/stillme.... which I read while I was on RA duty in Rush Hall at NCCU.
Josephine Baker is a pioneer of her craft and there has got to be many great lessons to absorb from this book.
What Autobiography are you reading?
