The Jackson State University Department of Music will present the award-winning Delgado Mauler Piano Duo during a free concert Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the F.D. Hall Music Center Recital Hall.
Pianists Tiffany Delgado and Hilary Mauler are winners of two national duo piano competitions and have taken the music world by storm. The two began playing together in May 2012 as a part of a class they were taking at Brigham Young University.
Both graduated a year later in piano performance under the coaching of Dr. Irene Peery-Fox, but not before taking first place in the United States International Duo Piano Competition, as well as the Ellis Duo Piano Competition sponsored by the National Federation of Music Clubs.
