Dear Heavenly Father,
Please help us to resolve disagreements in ways that are pleasing to you. Give us the strength to lay down our anger and pride. Teach us to be gentle, and to handle each other with care.
If there is any fighting at all, may we be fighting together for all that is holy and just.
May we seek to please You more than we seek to please ourselves, or to be right, or to win an argument for the sake of our pride.
And may we always choose “we” over “me.”
In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
