Dear Heavenly Father,
As we seek to serve you in every area of our marriage, may we be affectionate in ways that are pleasing to You.
Ignite the passion between us. Give us the strength to keep our marriage pure, and teach us to love the way that we need to be loved.
May we never forget that our bodies belong to each other, and also to You.
Please remind us to cherish the physical part of our relationship so that we aren’t leaving this important part of our marriage behind.
If we’re tired, worn out, or stressed, remind us to be compassionate and understanding so that we can move through these seasons together.
In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband.
