Of the hundreds of students and dozens of colleges participating in the 2019 HCASC premiere quiz contest, Honda extracted highlights from only three students. Two of the three represented Alabama A&M.
One of the two was Indonesia Jordan, who said the HCASC competition was responsible for her meeting some of her best friends, as well as receiving a strong support system. Through his participation, Aniekan Ruffin received a Honda internship. He is now able to assist other in making meaningful connections that will enrich their collegiate experiences.
Since the start of the competition in 1989, some 150,000 students have participated, while their HBCUs have received over $9 million in grants from Honda.
