Victory is a strong word that has many meaning. For some victory is the success one receives from completing a task, for others Victory is a win. Yet with the word of God Victory is a total surrender for God and through God. Victory is giving up of self and move to reliance on, adherence to and completely trusting in the promises only God can provide through obedience to his word. As each of us continue to seek his word and hear his voice we become a team of believers working toward the common good of spreading his word to others for salvation.
Everybody wants to have a significant impact that far exceeds our time on earth; we all want to be apart of something bigger than ourselves. God designed us to work together as a team; even Jesus had a team of disciples. God has chosen each of us to be apart of his team (John 15:16) When we became Born again is when God picked us to be apart of his team.
When we think of the definition of a team it is a group of people that get together for a purpose. Each one of us is part of that team of Christianity for the specific purpose of sharing Gods words. There is no “I” in this team but it does call for each of us to get involved in doing life together. What a wonderful power of “us.”
