I had been struggling most of this year with being obedient to the Lord and what HE wants me to do. Whether this has been in my marriage or in my parenting and especially in mu businesses and ministry, I struggled.
God has seriously been working on me to see that I HAVE no choice but to be obedient. Twice in the last few months I have been taken to Deuteronomy 28 that speaks of blessing in obedience and curses in disobedience. Seriously being in our last days, I am looking to be blessed by being a true obedient servant!
On September 27th, 2008 the Lord spoke to me about offering something to women for free. Just plain FREE. The spirit said do it...not plan it and work it out or see if the funding is there..Just do it...So, I am having a FREE spa day for 20 women in the Milwaukee area on November 15th. These are women that always give of themselves and never ask for anything in return. They will get facials, manicures, massages, pedicures and a gift bag! I am providing transportation to each of the venues....Hallelujah..God is good.
God is so good in all of our lives that when He shines the sun on the just and the unjust we are all blessed! Some of us don't realize that the gifts God has given us with the dawn of each day we can share with others w/o getting anything in return. I have the gift of helping others, event planning, and just plain getting the word out.
I have businesses, mainly small businesses, coming out of the woodwork donating items for the gift bags.....I still need service providers, but am I worried? No, God didn't tell me to worry about the financials. He basically said I got this!
I know He is teaching me in this process and I Praise HIM for being my teacher. With this event, I will have an awesome testimony to help families and women.
I am reaping the benefits of wisdom and making the community aware of what I am trying to do here. I'm not a pastor, I'm not an evangelist, or a minister YET, but I am a woman that has had experiences in life that God has carried me through and brought me out of. I am HIS servant!
